Soon after moving into our Flaxton Road 5 hectare property, the demand for Brent’s Home kill and Wild Game Services began.  Brent soon became known as “Brent the Butcher”.  With a wealth of knowledge, having worked in the meat industry all his life, Brent is more than happy to discuss, suggest and offer advice.

The business has grown organically over the years.  The best advertising is word of mouth and that certainly applies in this case.  Some say a well kept secret tucked away in Rangiora, but happy to share.

Brent is passionate about Meat and promises to offer quality, honest butchery results for your meat every time!  Brent specializes in small goods.  Offering Sausages, Salami’s, Patties, Bacon, Hams and much much more.  If you have seen us at the local Farmers Markets then you can taste the quality and variety of options available.

Having had two children diagnosed with Coeliac Disease the decision was made for all our goods to be Gluten Free.  We understand allergies and intolerances and have designed our small goods around catering for dietary concerns.  Happy to discuss your needs.

Our prices are comparative with other operators (Note: ours is GST inclusive).  All meat is packaged to suit.  Labelled and dated with a freezer proof label.  Your meat comes back to you Frozen or Fresh (Optional).  All prime cuts are Vacuumed packed.  We have a simple pricing structure so you will have no hidden surprises at the end.

We offer Cutting forms for ease of ordering and are flexible should you want something not listed.

We are proud to use and source NZ made ingredients and packaging items where possible.   All packaging is recyclable, including trays when used.

Slaughtering services are offered in conjunction with John Bishop (03 313-3376), an independent local mobile slaughterman who will visit your property and deliver your animal to us.
